Shaffer Directs Residents to Resources Following Devastating Storms

HARRISBURG – Rep Jeremy Shaffer (R-Allegheny) is working to help residents impacted by major storms that moved through Allegheny County Tuesday night. The storms caused widespread damage and left thousands without power.

“It’s devastating to see the impact of the storms,” Shaffer said. “I thank all the first responders and crews who are working hard to clean up the damage that was left behind. I also want to be a resource for any person impacted by the storms.”

Shaffer has created a page on his website where residents can report power outages, get information from emergency services and check to see what is happening in their local communities.

“When something like this happens, I want residents to know they are not going through this alone,” Shaffer said. “Anybody can be impacted by serve weather.”

Shaffer also reminded residents they can follow his Facebook page and his Instagram for updated information.
